10+ years of research and data science across finance, blockchain and AI, turning complex on-chain and market data into investment intelligence for institutional players.
Projects I worked on
Research Publications
Research spanning my PhD at the UZH Blockchain Center and my professional work, on incentive mechanisms, market design and consensus in decentralized systems, bridging academic rigor with real-world on-chain economies.
When Staking Rewards Compound: Measuring the Impact of Ethereum's Pectra Upgrade
Examines how Pectra's 0x02 compounding validators reshape consensus-layer rewards, simulating the APR uplift across staker types and analysing early adoption and migration barriers on the beacon chain.

Research that turns data into decisions.
I'm an experienced Data Science & Quantitative Research leader working where traditional and decentralized finance meet. As Lead Research Scientist at Entropy Advisors, I partner with Arbitrum DAO and Offchain Labs on consensus-mechanism research, incentives design and optimization, yield-strategy simulation, and data infrastructure architecture for a 10+ TB on-chain data lake and analytics.
Over 10+ years across data science, quantitative finance and digital assets, I've built and led Data & AI teams and shipped production platforms used daily by trading, research and portfolio-management desks, turning complex on-chain and market data into decisions teams can act on. As Director and Head of Data Science & AI at 21Shares, I owned strategy and architecture for the firm's crypto-intelligence platform; earlier, at Natixis, I built and managed teams of data scientists and engineers.
Alongside this, I'm a PhD researcher at the University of Zurich Blockchain Center, studying incentive mechanisms and market design in decentralized systems, pairing machine learning and statistical modelling with domain expertise to tackle high-impact financial problems.
